During the masterclass you will discover the essentials of playing with masks: training and technique. Playing with mask requires full body engagement, awareness of movement in space, control of breath and a sense of timing.
Through games, improvisations and exercises (with and without masks) the participants will approach the basic principles of acting with masks: body, movement, breathing and timing.
Some of the themes that will be explored during the workshop are:
energy and presence, listening and action-reaction, focus and relationship between mask and audience.
